Morning Proposal in Cherokee Park

Austin reached out to me months before to plan the sweetest morning proposal for his girlfriend Caitlin. He had planned to ask her to marry him atop a gorgeous bridge in Cherokee Park in Louisville, KY. For those of you who haven’t visited this park, it is a huge city park with rolling hills, twisting pathways, and babbling brooks! Basically, it has the works. I drove down the day before to scout out the location and plan a stress-free proposal for all involved.

The morning of the proposal, Austin was prepared to the max! As discussed beforehand, he shared a photo of their outfits, so I could instantly recognize them. He also shared his location with me, so I could track their progress in real-time. Technology has tremendously helped proposal photography become a seamless process!

I picked up two bottles of champagne on my way to the park. We needed one bottle to pop post-proposal, and I gifted one to the newly engaged couple to enjoy at their leisure.

Suddenly, it was go-time! I was so excited to see them as they made their way down the trail, and I waited on my cue from Austin. The flood of emotions and surprise was so heartwarming to witness! I live for moments where I can capture genuine emotions in all their glory!
