Couple’s Studio Photoshoot

I’ve said it once, but I’ll say it again: Nothing is classier than a couple’s studio shoot in black and white. Jani and Lizzie celebrated Valentine’s Day by having a fun, laid-back, yet sophisticated shoot to celebrate the day of love!

The couple has recently moved to Indiana after living in California for the last 6 years. They rave about the ease of living in the Midwest and can’t wait to find their “spots” in the city. Jani is the midst of a master’s program at IUPUI in chemistry, while Lizzie is working remotely on Pacific Time (yay sleeping in!)

They own an adorable German Shepard/Husky/Pitbull mix together. I told them for the next shoot they MUST bring their puppy to it. Yes, puppies are always allowed in my studio!

Lizzie talked to me about her passion for acro-yoga! She is hoping to buy a hoop to install in their home in Carmel. I love sessions where I can connect with my clients and everyone gets to know each other!

We played around with some roses in color since it was Valentine’s Day. Honestly, don’t flowers always make the best studio props? I wanted to recreate a 90s rom-com movie vibe, so I had the couple face back-to-back passing the rose between them. I love how they turned out!

This couple’s studio session was so fun! I turned on a fan to get the wind to tousle their hair slightly. They really let their inner models out with this shot!
