Family Photos with Teenagers and Adults

When most people think of family photos, they imagine a young family with 2 or 3 small children. While these photos are important, family photoshoots shouldn’t stop once the children are grown! 

Making memories with your family doesn’t stop at a particular age. If anything, it is more special to have family photos once everyone is an adult. It can be nearly impossible to get the entire family together as family members move states or can’t take off work. This is your sign to get a new family portrait at any age!

I met Olivia and her family over the holiday season at BLOT studio. Her brother was home for the holidays, and she knew everyone would appreciate a new family portrait! 

BLOT studio is located in downtown Indianapolis and is the perfect space to create! It is inclusive, dog-friendly, and a big enough space to take extended family photos! With the winter weather in full swing, it was necessary to book a studio due to the cold weather. It was exciting to make the family feel like models since we were using studio lights as well!

Olivia’s family is super stylish! They opted to do one outfit change from an all-white look to something more casual showcasing their own personal style. Olivia has done modeling before, and she is definitely a natural in front the camera!

We made sure to take all different kinds of combinations of the family: children only, mother and son, mother and daughters, sisters, etc. Even the family dog, Halo, was included in the combinations!
