Fashion Photography for Indy Dressed

I had the pleasure of photographing local Indianapolis blogger Sarah Byrne, creator of Indy Dressed. Sarah was on her way to the IN Fashion Honors Gala & Annual Fundraiser at the Columbia Club. This gala is a night to honor individuals who are making significant contributions to the fashion industry in Indiana.

Custom Dress

For the evening activities, Sarah wore a custom Regard gown that she helped design! The gown had a cape and so much movement! We were able to get some incredible shots showing the versatility and layers within the dress. Regard is currently taking custom orders now.

Deetra Johnson from @devious_diva_beauty worked her magic in the hair and make-up department. She is represented by Aesthetic Artist Agency. The red lip and smokey eye combination complemented the natural sheen of the dress.

Accessories

I am obsessed with how Sarah paired the jewel-toned dress with a cheetah clutch and a pink and gold statement belt. The ensemble worked perfectly from her hair coiffed in a ballerina bun down to her black, uniquely cut wedge shoes. She was the definition of custom glamour.

Fashion is For Everyone

We did a combination of high fashion poses and approachable poses to signal that everyday people can rock this aesthetic! The theme for this year’s IFF conference was “Not Just for Fashion People,” and “explored the intersectional nature of fashion and the ways in which it connects to individuals and organizations beyond the scope of the industry itself.”
